Gavin Markey Dazzles in Jefferson Win
Starting off the list is Jefferson's Gavin Markey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Markey rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.

Kaden (Kt) Thompson was instrumental in extending Cherokee Bluff's winning streak to seven on Friday. Thompson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Cherokee Bluff's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Thompson and Cherokee Bluff will challenge Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
