Clovis lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zarai Lewis, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Lewis scored a full 47.1% of Clovis' points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kailyn Jefferson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Clovis struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Bella Hines continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eldorado, scoring 33 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Hines' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chioma Holyfield, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Eldorado, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
