Harding has been on the road for five straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Wilby Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Harding came up short against the Falcons and fell 74-63. While losing is never fun, Harding can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Falcons are ranked 22nd).
Harding might have lost, but man, Guillaume Mulenga Jr. was a machine: he scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mulenga Jr. has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Craig Chandler, who scored six points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wilby stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Oxford, posting a 101-51 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Wilby who now have three in a row.
Harding's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wilby, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
