Sandy Valley faced Indian Springs in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Sidewinders never let the Thunderbirds get on the board and left with a 34-0 win. Considering the Sidewinders have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Sandy Valley found their leader in sophomore Cesar Garcia, who picked up 67 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 65 yards and one TD. Carter Freeman was another key player, rushing for 56 yards and one touchdown.
