Parrish Community is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Mitchell. That's two games straight that the Bulls have won by just one run.

Emmaline Van Beck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Pandelo, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jersie Rohde, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Pace's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Navarre.
The result came thanks to Hannah DeMarcus's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Pace's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Abby McLean, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Kamryn Pierce was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Pace pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Parrish Community, their win bumped their record up to 26-3.
