After soaring high against Gayville-Volin last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Burke/South Central were completely outmatched, falling 12-62 to Colome. If Burke/South Central were hoping to take revenge for the 14-64 loss against Colome the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Burke/South Central's record to 2-1. The win bumped Colome's record up to 3-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Burke/South Central are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Corsica/Stickney next week at 7:00 PM. Colome hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next game against Gayville-Volin at 7:00 PM in two weeks. Gayville-Volin had less luck in their last game and are out to reverse Colome's good fortune.
