Manor New Tech were the 87-78 winner over the Chaparral Bobcats when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Manor New Tech had to suffer through a rough 92-65 loss at the hands of Chaparral. Manor New Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Manor New Tech still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Kinard, who scored 26 points. Kinard scored a full 40% of Manor New Tech's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Keylan Morgan ll, who scored 16 points.
Chaparral can attribute much of their success to Brad Miles, who scored 20 points. Jeremiah Smith was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Manor New Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Chaparral, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing East View the next time they take the court. Chaparral will head out to face East View at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Manor New Tech will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
