Tabiona's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lex Giles, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. The contest was Giles' third in a row with at least ten points. Gavin Rhoades was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
Monticello's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Keyes, who scored 8 points.
Tabiona's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Monticello, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
