Baseball Recap: Carroll Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Carroll proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ray Texans, sneaking past 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since March 12th.

Prince Roland was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Carroll: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-21 otherwise.

Carroll's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-21. As for Ray, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-11.

Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ray, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 win against Gregory-Portland on the 28th.
