Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for King's Academy

King's Academy barely beat Cardinal Newman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Crusaders 3-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

King's Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cardinal Newman between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-14.

Miranda Knoll paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Knoll got some help from Hunter Saltalamacchia and her 22 assists. Alanis Molina controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

King's Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cardinal Newman, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Academy will host Dwyer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will be playing at home against Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
