Isabelle Niederst continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Niederst is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mya Rivera, who scored 12 points.
Elyria Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Elyria Catholic will be playing at home against Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Smithville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. Westlake's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. Hopefully North Olmsted focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Saturday.
