String Theory lost to the Academy at Palumbo Griffin back in December of 2022, but String Theory didn't allow the Academy at Palumbo Griffin the same satisfaction on Tuesday. String Theory came out on top against Academy at Palumbo by a score of 58-48.
Jason Pezzetti continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Dawud Jones, who scored 11 points.
String Theory's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Academy at Palumbo, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. String Theory is on the road again on Thursday and play against George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on December 14th. George Washington will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Academy at Palumbo, they will head out on the road to face off against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
