The Lutheran North Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 94-54 defeat at the hands of Second Baptist. Lutheran North was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-22.
Second Baptist was led to victory by Dyllan Thompson and Mike Olaly. Thompson scored 22 points along with five rebounds, while Olaly scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. The match was Thompson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ivan Ramos was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Lutheran North's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-6. As for Second Baptist, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
