Softball Recap: Silverado Finds Playoff Glory Versus Rialto

Silverado extended their postseason success on Saturday against Rialto. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Knights. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Silverado got a massive performance out of Aryhana Shyne, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most RBI Shyne has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Valdez, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Silverado kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

Silverado pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Rialto, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

As of now, neither Silverado nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
