Everything went Texas City's way against Nederland on Friday as Texas City made off with a 29-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Texas City, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Texas City's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Nederland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Texas City will take on Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntsville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Texas City is ranked 121st). As for Nederland, they will square off against Lake Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Creek is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
