Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin got themselves on the board against Cedar Creek on Friday, but Cedar Creek never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Raptors, who have now won nine matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Rose Harrelson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elizabeth (Lizzy) Lopez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Esther Harrelson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedar Creek only posted an OBP of .111.

Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Cedar Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-23.
