After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middle College, Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Soulsville Revolution 54-16. The Phoenix have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adrianna Toy, who posted four points along with ten steals, eight rebounds, and five assists. The dominant performance gave Toy a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Akiyra Mattison, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Toy wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Soulsville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
