The Freedom Eagles lost against Independence back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Freedom fell to Independence 40-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Freedom has scored all season.
Jordan Ratliff was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored ten points along with five rebounds. He set a new season high mark in steals with two. Ian Grimes was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Independence, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Freedom will be staying on the road on December 29th to face off against Cardozo on December 29th. Independence and John Champe will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th at.
