The Mifflin Punchers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Columbus International at home to the tune of 86-45. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Mifflin with their most commanding win of the season.
Tariq Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of John Glover, who scored seven points along with ten assists and five rebounds.
Mifflin's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Columbus International, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Mifflin will look to defend their home court on Monday against Marion-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. Marion-Franklin is coming into the game with four straight losses on the road, meaning Mifflin will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Columbus International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
