The Chrisman Cardinals won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Paris, falling 75-45. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Chrisman of the 55-42 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Chrisman lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris Francis, who scored ten points along with four steals. Francis has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Rhoads, who scored ten points.
Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Paris, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.
Chrisman will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Vermillion is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Paris' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully La Salette Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
