Basketball Recap: Richards Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Richards came out on top against Normangee by a score of 73-66.

HEATH GRAVES had another great game (as he tends to do), going 14-for-22 on his way to 32 points along with seven steals and five boards. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was OWEN PIERSALL, who shot 53% from the field en route to 20 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds.

Richards was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Richards' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Normangee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Richards didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-40 victory against Groesbeck on the 11th. As for Normangee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-64 win against Anderson-Shiro on the 9th.
