The Lansdowne Vikings were the 51-48 winner over the Towson Generals when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The New Year welcomed Lansdowne with a 71-38 whooping from Towson on Wednesday. Lansdowne has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Jeremiah Harris, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals for Towson. Harris has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Korey Collins, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Lansdowne now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Towson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansdowne will take on Parkville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Towson, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Woodlawn is ranked 201st, while Towson is ranked 206th).
