Magruder won the last time they faced Wheaton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Colonels were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Knights. The Colonels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Magruder is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Wheaton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Magruder will be playing in front of their home fans against Damascus at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheaton, they will face off against Blair on Saturday.
