It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Farmington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Prior Lake Lakers. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Olivia Peterson spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits.
At the plate, Farmington saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Redman, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Farmington's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
