The Scotts Valley Falcons had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to DCP Alum Rock for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-32 victory at home. The win was just what Scotts Valley needed coming off of a 72-51 defeat in their prior match.
DCP Alum Rock's lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isidro Cigarroa Fores, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Clarida, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory got Scotts Valley back to even at 3-3. As for DCP Alum Rock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Scotts Valley will head out on the road to face off against Monte Vista Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Monte Vista Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for DCP Alum Rock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cindy Avitia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
