Leading The First Academy to victory were Brianna Garcia and Bianca Hall. Garcia scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals, while Hall scored 20 points along with seven steals. It was the first time this season that Garcia pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sophia Silva, who scored six points.
Trinity Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for The First Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.
