Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Jackson, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 80-65 loss to Renton on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Friday (60), Jackson still had to take the loss.
Loss or not, Jackson got some senior leadership from Ryan Mcferran who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds and Colby Cooke who scored 16 points. Mcferran scored a full 32.3% of Jackson's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Seamus Williams, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Marysville-Pilchuck's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Marysville-Pilchuck was taken down by Jackson 84-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2022.
