The Jackson Aggies entered their tilt with the St. Martin Yellow Jackets with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Jackson secured a 44-40 W over St. Martin on Monday.
Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmine Jones, who scored 12 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Jackson's points. Angel Powell was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Jackson's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Martin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Jackson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fruitdale at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for St. Martin, they will be playing at home against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hancock's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so St. Martin's offense will have their work cut out for St. Martin.
