York Catholic can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let the Hanover Nighthawks get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Irish, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Luke Manfredi was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season. Jacob Scappa was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

York Catholic's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Hanover, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, York Catholic will welcome Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Fighting Irish have lost four straight at home (dating back to last season), while the Knights have lost three on the road. As for Hanover, they will host Dover at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Nighthawks are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
