Hononegah's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Belvidere Bucs a 19-0 shutout. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Hononegah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Belvidere, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-23.

Coming up, Belvidere will head out to challenge Crystal Lake South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hononegah will be paying especially close attention to the Bucs' contest: after the Bucs face off against the Gators, they'll take on Hononegah again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
