The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Mary's Academy in their matchups with Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, St. Mary's Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Whitehead , who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Engholm, who scored four points.
St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, the victory was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
St. Mary's Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Veritas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, they will head out on the road to face off against Wichita HomeSchool at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wichita HomeSchool has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 362 points over their last five contests.
