St. Joseph scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the La Cueva Bears by a score of 8-7. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Joseph saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kali Padilla, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Padilla also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Another was Kaycie Gavlak, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for La Cueva, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Millikan on the 8th. La Cueva has also already played their next game (against La Habra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
