The Cannon Cougars are on the road again on Friday and play against the Reidsville Rams at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th. Cannon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 18 matches -- so hopefully Reidsville likes a good challenge.
Last Wednesday, Cannon got the win against Broughton by a conclusive 78-53. The victory was just what Cannon needed coming off of a 97-66 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Reidsville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 76-64 win over Farmville Central. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Reidsville has scored all year.
Cannon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Reidsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
