Brother Rice extended the longest winning streak in Catholic Central this week by beating University of Detroit Jesuit, 38-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Warriors.
The Cubs lost to Brother Rice 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Brian Walker was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 75 yards on 14 carries as Albert Fracassa's team beat University of Detroit Jesuit. Jonathon Forster also contributed to the rushing game with 51 yards on the ground.
Brother Rice's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alex Malzone has thrown for 1,578 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Perry has 35 catches for 545 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Warriors and Catholic Central. Brother Rice enters the contest ranked first in the state, while the Shamrocks ranks fourth.
The Warriors' offense has racked up 243 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Catholic Central has allowed only 64 on the year.
Tom Mach's team and De La Salle Collegiate played the most contested game in Catholic Central this week, with Tom Mach's team eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
