In what's become a running theme this season, the Desert Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 82-31 win over San Manuel at home. Winning may never get old, but Desert Christian sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Desert Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Vavala out in front who scored 20 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vavala has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Brown, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Desert Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for San Manuel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Desert Christian will play host again and welcome Sequoia Pathway Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Manuel, they will head out on the road to face off against Duncan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
