Jadden Perdomo and Zeryc Chalmers were among the main playmakers for Deerfield Beach as the former had 14 digs and three assists and the latter had three digs and two aces. Chalmers is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season.

Coral Springs had won four straight road games dating back to last season and Jayden Thomas did his part to make it five on Friday. Everything went Coral Springs' way against Flanagan as Coral Springs made off with a 3-0 win which was due in part to Thomas, who had ten digs. That's the most aces Chalmers has posted since back in April of 2024.
Coral Springs not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Flanagan between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.
Deerfield Beach's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Coral Springs, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's game: Deerfield Beach hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 6.8 blocks per game. However, it's not like Coral Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.2 blocks. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
