The matchup between Washington and Normal Community on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers blew past the Ironmen 7-1. Washington might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Washington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Normal Community, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Looking ahead, Washington will head out to challenge Limestone at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Normal Community, they will host Peoria Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Normal Community will need to watch out since Peoria Notre Dame have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
