Trinity Christian School of Griffin's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Leah McLaurin, who scored 15 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds, and McKinleigh Norwood who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds. Aubrey Spitzer was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 8 rebounds.
Peoples Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peoples Baptist Academy will challenge Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy and Peoples Baptist Academy are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will head out on the road to face off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Springs Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
