After flying high against HEM last Saturday, Burlington came back down to earth. The Burlington Huskies took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
Rocky Mountain can attribute much of their success to Tucker Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Alex Hedges was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Burlington and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Rocky Mountain, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Burlington will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Meeteetse at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Rocky Mountain will take on Lyman in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
