After flying high against HEM last Saturday, Burlington came back down to earth. The Burlington Huskies took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. Rocky Mountain can attribute much of their success to Tucker Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Alex Hedges was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Burlington and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Rocky Mountain, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Burlington will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Meeteetse at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Rocky Mountain will take on Lyman in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
