Sky View and Green Canyon are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2022, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Sky View made easy work of Tooele and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Sky View never let Tooele on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.

Sky View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brynn Spackman, who had 11 digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Spackman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abby Thatcher, who had 17 digs.
If Stansbury wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Green Canyon, they should've done a better job of containing Jaylee Blotter. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stallions on Tuesday thanks in part to Blotter, who had nine aces and eight digs. Spackman is also on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Green Canyon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.
Green Canyon's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Sky View, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Sky View has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Green Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
