American Collegiate Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tristan Townsend, who scored 24 points along with four steals, and Marcus Green who scored 20 points along with two blocks. It was the first time this season that Green posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavien Edmonds, who scored seven points along with two steals.
IMG Academy Black's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-12. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for American Collegiate Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.
