Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newbury Park Adventist). They put the hurt on the Westmark Lions with a sharp 9-1 win on Monday. Considering the Gators have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Newbury Park Adventist's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Westmark, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

After both having extra time off, Newbury Park Adventist and Gorman Learning Charter - Santa Clarita will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 3:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Newbury Park Adventist has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 20 goals over their last three games. As for Westmark, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beacon Hill at 3:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
