The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Morris Central, who took down 53rd ranked West Morris Central, 21-6.
Delbarton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fourth in Northwest Jersey - National. The Green Wave vanquished Randolph 39-16 earlier in the week.
Delbarton's dynamic duo of Michael Bicknese and Matt Oplinger proved tough for the Rams to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bicknese threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns and Oplinger had 114 yards receiving. J.P Campbell helped Delbarton's passing attack out by catching three balls for 85 yards.
Carmine Verducci was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 128 yards on 10 carries as Parsippany Hills topped Randolph. Angelo Gallego also contributed to the rushing game with 27 yards on the ground.
Parsippany Hills' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Simms has thrown for 486 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Kire Milevski has 14 catches for 181 yards. Verducci leads the league in rushing with 355 yards.
The top two teams in Northwest Jersey - National will face off this week when first place Roxbury takes on second place Parsippany Hills. Last week, Roxbury bested the Wolfpack, while the Vikings topped West Morris Mendham.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Parsippany Hills takes on the Gaels. David Albano's team has allowed 18 points this season, while Roxbury has given up 13. The Vikings allowed 6 points last week as they topped the Minutemen.
There should be lots of points scored when Parsippany Hills and Cosmo Lorusso's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Vikings comes in having scored 103 this season, while the Gaels have scored 101. Parsippany Hills scored 35 points last week as it bested West Morris Mendham.
Joe Lusardi's team moved up to 60 from 101 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Rams were able to make the jump by beating the Rams 39-16.
