The Eastside Ghosts will challenge the Bergen Tech Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
If Eastside beats Bergen Tech with six runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Ghosts skirted past West Milford 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Ghosts in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won three in a row.

Elian Colon looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kairo Reyes, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Eudrin Rosario, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bergen Tech). They blew past Tenafly 19-2 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Michael Camporeale and Jake Burke did most of the damage at the plate: Camporeale got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Burke went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Camporeale a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Harssh Ramayanam Venkkat, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Bergen Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Bergen Tech's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Eastside skirted past Bergen Tech 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Ghosts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
