Meanwhile, West Central Area unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 71-70 to Melrose. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
New York Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Central Area, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
