Vermillion won the last time they met up with Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything went Vermillion's way against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Friday as they made off with a 47-16 victory.
The win bumped Vermillion's record up to 2-5. The defeat dropped Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's record to 1-6.
Next week Vermillion take on Elk Point-Jefferson at 7:00 PM. Elk Point-Jefferson are limping into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, they will face off against Crow Creek. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
