Basketball Recap: Temple Baptist Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Temple Baptist Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against Seymour Community Christian Academy by a score of 51-40. That's more bragging rights for the Royal Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Temple Baptist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Mueller out in front who went 10 of 19 en route to 23 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Mueller has scored at least a third of Temple Baptist Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Colin Weber, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Temple Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Temple Baptist Academy and Berean Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Seymour Community Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Apostolic Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
