The Grind Prep G.R.I.N.D can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Everything went their way against Life Prep as Grind Prep made off with a 75-53 win. The win was familiar territory for Grind Prep who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Life Prep still got an impressive performance from Arthur Videira, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Laterro Young, who scored nine points.
Grind Prep pushed their record up to 11-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Life Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grind Prep will face off against Dynamic Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Grind Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Dynamic Prep likes a good challenge. Life Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oklahoma City S at 2:30 p.m. on February 14th. Hopefully Oklahoma City S focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Saturday.
