St. Paul struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Leading Minden to victory were Kinsie Land and Mattie Kamery. Land scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and six steals, while Kamery scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kamery has scored all season. Myla Emery was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven steals.
St. Paul has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Minden, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
St. Paul's road trip will continue as they head out to face Malcolm at 11:50 a.m. on January 20th. Malcolm will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Minden, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Holdrege at 6:00 p.m. Holdrege will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Minden is ranked 18th).
