KIPP College Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. KIPP College Prep will square off against rival Paul Public Charter International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richard Wright Public Charter School is set to face off against their familiar foe Girls Global Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
